That would bring my damage per round to 40, right E.

B. at the same level only deals 20 average damage.

An optimized blade bladelock with a d10 pact weapon and their curse deals something like 28 to 30 damage.

Share Report Save Continue this thread level 1 6 months ago Pact Boon: Eldritch Glock 16 Share Report Save level 1 6 months ago For pact of the smith I think there should be a cap on the gold cost of object and that it should last for a temporary amount of time, if it is permanent there maybe should be a gold cost or at least a limit, like the Forge Cleric, because free plate armor or adamantine weapons can be a bit powerful for free.

Or you can do a similar thing to what you did with the common magic item invocation where you can only have one crafted item at a time.

The 7th level requirement on Eldritch Quarry seems high, especially since Warlocks already get Hex, maybe if you cant get Hunters Mark until higher levels it should have a bonus, like not requiring concentration like the UA class feature variants ranger feature.

I think Eldritch Coalescence can be more powerful since Divine Smite is 1d81d8 per level expended, it should be at least 1d61d6 per level expended.

Most of the Pact Spells are thematic except for Hail of Thorns, that feels a bit out of place to me.

The Spellslinging Styles are really well designed, especially Eldritch Vigor, making missing feel less bad.

The increased damage over time with Spelled Gun is interesting, starting off quite weak, less than something like the Artillerist but growing to be powerful overtime, surpassing the Artillerist, but as a caviat maybe include that it takes an action to fire, because of how powerful it can be with extra attack, especially with the potential to crit.

It may be worth taking a page from the hexblade and adding some bonus if used with Pact of the Blade like you can choose a firearm as a pact weapon.

The rest of the Eldritch Invocations are well designed and this is a great futurization of the warlock, good work 11 Share Report Save level 2 Original Poster 6 months ago Thank you for the feedback You make great points, especially that being able to use extra attack can turn the gunrunner into a cannon lol.

I went ahead and reworked some of the features based on this and a couple of other comments if you wanna check it out.

Share Report Save level 1 6 months ago I love the flavor and concepts in this subclass, but I feel like it competes too much with the eldritchblast-lock for the role of ranged nuker.

Also I dont think you should allow Cha for attack and damage.

As of now attack, damage, spell attack and DC all have the same ability Have you considered simply using a flat damage 2d6 regardless of whether its a musket, pistol or Blunderbuss.

And then maybe adding profiency modifier to damage rolls with the Eldritch Gun That would be 16 damage (745) per shot at lvl 9 and with a 5 dex modifier.

I think Ill limit the ability mod to an invocation like agonising blast.

And I had meant to write for quick grit to be that you cant use an ability mod on the second attack, like two weapon fighting so then with arcane grit you would be able to again like two-weapon fighting style.
